Hola Amigos - Join us for spectacular hiking in Giron, 43 kilometres from Cuenca. Chorro de Giron Waterfall is an easy to moderate hike, from the small town of Giron. The first waterfall is 10 minutes away from the park entrance. The second waterfall trail begins before the park entrance, and is a picturesque hike through pasture land and jungle like forest. 2 waterfalls side by side are at the end of the hike. The park ranger tries to stop people from going to the 2nd waterfall, claiming it is very dangerous and the trail is hard to find. We believe this is to protect the area.
