Parque Nacional Cajas, Ecuador spectacular hiking

30 kilometres west of Cuenca is the stunning Parque Nacional Cajas. Most of the park lies between 4,000 metres - 4,500 metres (13,000 - 14, 800 feet). Hiking opportunities are endless in this amazing area. There is also excellent bird watching and trout fishing. The other day two falcons flew above us as we hiked up one of the park´s peaks.
